In the late 1990's, Matta's decided to reach more customers
 in a different way. 
Not 'fast food', but good food fast.
Matta's Mexican Grill was that idea,it opened in December 2002.
 While staying true to Matta's family recipes, Matta's Mexican Grill offered north east Mesa a fast casual style restaurant with a convenient call ahead drive-thru.
